Brenda is a consignment artist and does not have store hours.
Brenda Spencer owns and operates her own historic preservation consulting business. She holds bachelor and master of architecture degrees from Kansas State University. While she enjoys her work preserving historic buildings in Kansas, glass is her creative outlet. She was introduced to stained-glass by Rex Slack in the College of Architecture at KSU. Brenda has done stained-glass, primarily for personal use and enjoyment for more than twenty-years. Several years ago she was introduced to glass fusing by a friend, Lori Flemming-Huyett, a potter from Holton. Brenda bought a kiln and has been experimenting with dichroic and fused glass creations in recent years. She also combines the fused glass with old silverware to make unique jewelry and makes jewelry out of vintage buttons. If she is not out looking at old buildings, you can typically find Brenda in the basement of her Pottawatomie County farmhouse working with glass.
