As an artist, I can find inspiration in almost anything: light playing on the backs of rolling hills, songs heard by a meadowlark perched on a rusty wire, a lone leaf on a once covered branch, or a tattered hide from one too many scrapes.

Simple and yet profound when you let them speak.

God surrounds us with blessings every morning, mostly missed because they arrive in small everyday packages.

Over scheduling, distraction, apathy, and being too self-absorbed are the enemies of inspiration. We become too easily unaffected and blind to the “gifts” of life, We need to slow down, breathe, and become noticer’s again. . . .
