Toni Schneider was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She moved to Chase County in 1991. Since moving from the city she has lived near Cedar Point. Toni has always enjoyed photography. Having two boys that have attended Chase County Schools has given her lots of material to photograph: sports and just about any school related event. In her spare time from ranching and farming she enjoys photographing the beautiful Flint Hills she has called home for nearly 25 years. She is pleased to join the artists at Prairie Pastimes and shares the beauty of her home with others.
Toni also would like to share some of the many vintage quilts created by her great-grandmother, Freda Krueger Schneider. Freda was born in Minnesota in 1888. She moved to Bessie, OK where her husband, Godfred ran a Lumberyard and Furniture store until his death 1921 at an early age. Freda was left alone to raise two boys (10 &12yrs). She made a living sewing and taking in boarders.
