Ann is an consignment artist and does not have store hours.
Ann Lucille spent her childhood in a rural region of PA. Growing up all she ever wanted for birthdays and holidays were pencils, paper, oils, canvases, etc. She painted on windows, picnic tables, walls, tin – whatever she could find. She enjoyed her art classes and in elementary and high school, her art works were often chosen for display. The family moved to Arizona and Ann graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree with emphasis on Chemistry and Art. After graduation her passion for art and art history continued as she studied art at the University of Phoenix where she fell in love with acrylics. She liked the quick drying process of acrylics and ability to mix the paint freely and stretch the imagination with different tools for a painterly quality. While married to an Air Force pilot stationed in Anchorage, Ann took advanced oils and drawing at the University of Alaska. It wasn’t until retirement from a medical laboratory field that she discovered stained glass. She learned mosaics, fusing and decorative soldering from artists in Arizona, winning a couple of blue ribbons at a stained glass competition. In both acrylics and stained glass, Ann likes to create movement and balance with color and subjects in an abstract and reflective way. Ann wants viewers’ eyes to wonder off the canvas and/or glass design and back again.
Ann currently resides in Wichita, Kansas with her husband to be closer to their daughter, son in law and their growing twins.
